    ... we reached the end
of Cedar Ridge Trail. At this point, we
turned left to get on the Mountains-to-Sea Trail, which runs concurrently with
Bluff Mountain Trail, roughly following the Blue Ridge Parkway southbound. Although the trail had some ups and downs, it
was much more level than the hike up to this point. Moreover, the humidity dropped as we hiked

... need to get an early start in the morning… 325 miles
to DC and I want to be there mid-afternoon.

    Tonight? Early to bed.

The Church Sisters, 20 year old twins, were lovely to listen to, and some of the Gospel groups (there were 2 or 3 gospel pieces in everyone’s sets) such as the historic ChuckWagon Gang were great vocally. As far as the evening features, we found the Marty Stuart group to be a ...

After an excellent pancake breakfast at Susie's Kitchen, we headed out about 9:30. Susie lead us back down the mountain.

We drove through Knoxville, and crossed the border at Bristol where we stopped at the Virginia welcome center and grabbed every brochure that looked interesting. Most of you know that I plan our trips sort of on the fly. You know, Tennessee is a big state!! Especially when you drive from the ...
