This is the last morning that the four amigo's ride together till we all return to Australia. Bjoern and Sigrid head off towards their dream to ride South America and we head towards Florida.
We rode to the Royal Gorge Bridge and took photos we did not ride over the bridge as at a cost of $26 per person this is highway robbery.
So we woke up refreshed and ready to go today. After having a great rest in our suite we hit the road around 10:30. It was a pleasant and sunny 20 degrees and not much wind. Spent Wednesday in Crested Butte, a skiing town about an hour away from the cabin. Fun artsy town, great shops and restaurants
... near Gunnison and Crested Butte. It is exactly what we need at this point. We are alone, total silence, black night. For the first time in our journey the landscape is not moving.
Thank you Kate, we are hunkered down for a few days. Colorado's beauty has impressed us.
