... sunset, but running out of
daylight we decided a closer Dadds Gulch would suffice. We scaled a steep backcountry ridge off trail
to get a better glimpse of the setting sun. Beautiful views, neat rock
formations, arid cactuses and large piles of animal droppings (clapping our
hands and shouting periodically just in case Mr. poopy was a cranky bear)

... gives me the chance to visit with friends and family on the East Coast.

My favorite part of today was when my Ipod randomly played "Going Down The Road Feeling Bad" into "Getting Jiggy with it". Gotta love Radio-Deb. This will give you a hint as to how bored I was driving in a straight line across 3 states for 12 hours straight. I am sure that this was not the most exciting day of this adventure.
