    ... thus late getting this blog started. Friday morning we were up at 6am to get up and on our way to the Lansing, WV for an all day whitewater rafting trip down the Lower New River. We had a blast. Our guide Brenton was great-knew quite a bit of history about the area and was very attentive in keeping Elena safe.     ... just resting recuperating from 10 days of traveling! Sandy and Landy got here around 4:00 and discovered that the power cord on the trailer had snapped so Jerry has been over with Landy supervising I guess. They have no brakes on the trailer and no brake lights. Not good in the mountains. Don't know what they will decide to do tomorrow but so far Landy has been unable to repair it for travel.
