There was a big line at the airport full of outdoorsy people. Thanks to tour guide extraordinaire Thordis we knew to use the automated machines rather than wait in line. Duty free shopping included licorice, chocolate for Senn’s friend Kiley, perfume for Kaden, and a couple of Icelandic donuts ...

It was a nice change of pace to be completely on our own in a space that wasn’t a tent. Brit fixed up some home-baked cookies for dessert, and then we watched “Julie & Julia” (recommended to us by our new Wisconsin friend, the French expert Ashley) on Mickey’s mom’s Netflix account. Zzzzzzzzz. . .
