We saw some movies and also enjoyed some of the good restaurants which are almost as abundant in the Twin Cities as they are here in Portland. Here's the view from Joe's Garage, where we ate on the roof and enjoyed watching the sun set over the downtown Basilica of St. Mary.
... early in the a.m. watching CNN and chatting with a friend on facebook who was also awake that late. I started my trip in the morning not knowing what the day would bring but again......Ron and I seem to be very lucky--and the trip was still a go. No major damage to Honolulu. whew!
Honolulu is big and busy. We had some good meals and sat on Waikiki beach a little but I am excited to heading to Maui.
