    Left Front Royal at 4:45pm to meet Brian & Cleo in Manassas for a bon voyage dinner. At 5:15 we realized Dave left his phone at home. WOW!! Who would have thought Dave would forget his phone, now that's something I would do!!! So back to Front Royal we went in the pouring rain.I love an adventure!! Just finished dinner !     ... day, then split a hotel room - only because the owner will pick us up and drop us off at the trail head. Had spaghetti and lasagna for dinner. Saturday, June 07 2014 Woke up to a hot shower :). Ate a quick breakfast and then got the ride to the trail. Started hiking at 8, the trail was perfect, and we finished the first 7 miles like it was nothing. Was a perfect day out, cool breeze and a shady path the whole day.
