... room at the airport. The bag did finally arrive by courier just after 5:00 a.m. the following Tuesday after we got home. I was a little apprehensive when we opened it, because although we had carefully wrapped and packaged the bottles of raki and olive oil, I still fully expected some breakage in handling on a journey of that length. We were delighted to find that everything was intact!

... town right outside the national park that we’d put on our agenda if we can ever come back. The big old Stanley Hotel was the inspiration for Stephen King’s The Shining.

Overall, Rocky Mountain National Park was a highlight of the trip with simply the most gorgeous and vibrantly colored mountain ranges we’ve seen. It has the WOW factor!

... the water is all heated by solar or wind power. Fort Collins is all like that, one of the most sustainable, bike friendly towns! In many of the restaurants, the to go containers are even compostable, made from plants. Wow! This town is fantastic; there is even interactive art with painted pianos all over town that anyone can play!!!!
