Saying goodbye + the never ending layover in Miami

After an emotional farewell, I left the atlanta runway, lovingly cradling a big black book I had been given as a going away gift. I had left America after living there for one year and the book was full of messages from friends (and adopted family) wishing me well. As expected I sniffled my way through each message (listening to Keane's somewhere only we know only worsened melancholy). My mom and I made it to Atlanta flying on Delta without a problem. My brother picked us up from the air port and took us home to good ole peaches. On the way, I made a request for something so American that I had been missing while out of the country: Wendy's. You can never go wrong with a sweet tea, cheeseburger, and salty fries. Oh yummy! Arriving home wasn't weird for me, and I didn't think it would be either. I never had a reverse culture shock. I ...

... an early start again today. After staying at our Cancun Hotel we have turned into snobs, this one wasn't anywhere posh enough for us. Oh I did forgot to mention in our room at the Westin was a Jacuzzi bath, this is how fancy it was. So, today has been a long day already, we were up at 0400 to catch our flight to Atlanta, where we stop for one night before heading to Alabama, Memphis ...
