      ... yby w stanie zapalić nawet traktor! Poważny był to trunek! John został zaproszony do uczestnictwa w zawodach 'Cornhole'. Polegało ono na rzucaniu torebki z piaskiem przez otwór w tablicy. Brzmi nudnie, ale była to świetna zabawa (szczególnie po paru piwach).

      Po dobrze przespanej nocy przyszedł czas na pożegnanie się z Flo, Jimem i stanem Michigan. Czas na kolejną podróż (tym razem pociągiem) ...

      We got up at 2:30 in the morning to start our EPIC road trip of a lifetime! Then we hit the road at 3:15 and it was smooth sailing to Chicago. Annalena had no problem sleeping for the majority of the drive, and the rest of the time she was happy and excited to be in the car. It was a great start to our trip.

      Snow was threatening in the U.P. so we decided to high-tail it back to the Lower Peninsula to avoid it. We had to wait at the Mackinaw Bridge for a wind advisory to be all clear and then bee-lined it for Burt Lake State Forest Campground. There is also a Burt Lake State Park but it is wide open with spaces on top of one another and is only open during the good weather months.
