    ... It was nice being able to catch up with them. Unfortunately Aarons’ mother had passed away a few weeks ago so we missed seeing her. Dianna was a wonderful lady who we enjoyed meeting several years ago. Her loss is still painfully close to everyone.

    Snow was threatening in the U.P. so we decided to high-tail it back to the Lower Peninsula to avoid it. We had to wait at the Mackinaw Bridge for a wind advisory to be all clear and then bee-lined it for Burt Lake State Forest Campground.
