We started out with yet another wonderful breakfast then hit the road to Petersburg. First stop - Smoke Hole Cavern. We had our bag lunch then went exploring. Yes, we sang in the middle of the cave. Yes, it was beautiful. Then we enjoyed some time mining for gems and checking out the gift shop.

... and threatened to call the police on them. The kids did a great job handling it. Thank goodness an employee stayed close by.
Once we managed to pack up and leave without further incident we headed back to the dorm. We had mandatory fun time. What happens when you gather 20 youth and 10 adults in a room and throw in some games? Fun, team building, bonding, and laughter. I haven't seen so much fun in a long time.

... The teamwork was amazing. Around 12:30 or so, Helen was really wanting them to perform for the people that were still there. We knew they wanted us to sing for them but this happened to be the ONE time that Tracy didn't have her ipod and little speaker with her. Her sister was taxiing them back to the dorm to pick it up. ... br> The church shared with us an amazing pot luck lunch. We are definitely not starving around here. We received a lot of positive feedback on the concert. 2 girls were even complimented by a dentist on their teeth and smiles. :-)
We have now made it back to the dorm for a little down time and laundry time. Thank you Deb and Karen for washing everyone's polos, tour tees and tie dyed shirts.
