Mostly a travel day today ending in Owensboro, KY Lots of time in the car but with good company.... And an onboard DVD player the drive was a pleasant one. We left Malone State Park, regretfully since it was ideal, but headed for Mammoth Cave National Park, even though we had to backtrack East. Man, the Kentucky roads are stinkin' NARROW, no shoulder, and are often slopped the wrong way, so it scares the heck out of you on occasion. Passing a truck or wide vehicle is a nail biter.
