      ... redwoods and then with logging I guess we were lucky they put the area under the Park protection so we can see these giants. Also this is the 50th anniversary for a deadly tsunami that hit Crescent City from an earthquake in Alaska. In Alaska many towns were lost along with lives then the waves made it to CA in 4 hours and the fourth wave produced a 21 foot wave of debris.

      After the talk she gave us five different wines to taste and at the end we bought a bottle of Roche Topaz which is a 2011 Late Harvest Wine. Its a sweet wine at a cost of $30. Most of the wines I tasted were not my type.

      ... and had the van worked on at two different mechanics. We've driven through vast farmlands and deserts, coastline and mountain roads, and stayed in cities and tiny towns.
