    ... in Chicago out ceiling was 12 feet high, in this room its 30' ! At this rate we will be staying in a catherdral next vacation. More pics posted later of this room.     ... back to Bjorn’s to finish loading the bikes and whatever was left. We made a quick stop in Arcata at the bike shop to get Kaitlyn’s front wheel fixed, which they kindly did free of charge, and grabbed a coffee before hitting the road.     ... would be Yreka, where we found a bar suitably equipped with a large screen TV. We got there about 10 minutes after kickoff, just in time to see the first goal. The rest of that game is, of course, history and we watched it unfold with the same slack jawed dis-belief as did millions around the world. What an utterly humiliating defeat. It will be interesting see how they perform in the consolation game on Saturday.

    We left San Fran in the rain and rush hour traffic and drove until we didn't want to drive anymore. We love finding these random little places to camp. Arrived in the dark to the sound of bull frogs in a pond and woke to a duck sitting on the grass in front of the RV.
