The rooms have complete ceilings. Without laundry service and the breakfast is very simple. The bed is comfy, the room & bathroom are clean. The motel is 6 min. walk from a McD away.

Just grabbed breakfast at McDonald's and gas after 2 hours on the road already. Stayed in Knoxville TN. It's been a wet and beautiful drive so far this morning. Of course it's just now daylight and starting to rain. We can tell we have gone north as we started out about 68 when we left hotel and by the time we stopped for gas we were all digging our sweaters out of the trunk. It is now 57 and dropping. ...

... the home is minimal; hope they don't bother Emily -- that's a lot of hope. And what would a road trip be without barbecue? We stumbled onto a family-run hole-in-the-wall place (Eatz on Moore Street) which happened to serve a nice sliced pork sandwich. Patty was drawn more to the meatloaf. Good stuff. We had a nice chat with the owner/manager who had time on his hands -- it was a quiet night in this little place. Tennessee ...

We are heading out for 17 days of adventure. Our friends, Keith and Brenda (best travel buddies in the world) are going with usp. We are taking our truck and camper. Our goal is to drive as far as possible tonight, tomorrow and part of Sunday. We want to start sight ...

... fixings and sides. Delivered to our site. It was very good. We even had some leftovers for later. This is nice after a long day of driving. Very nice sitting outside tonight. We are about three hours from our next destination in natural Bridge Virginia. We will be here approximately a week. Or I should say at least the trailer will be there, and possibly me, as I don't know what's happening relative to spending time in Maryland. We will ...
