The rooms have complete ceilings. Without laundry service and the breakfast is very simple. The bed is comfy, the room & bathroom are clean. The motel is 6 min. walk from a McD away.

  • On the way back to Boone, I stopped at Linville Caverns.
  • Next adventure was a trip to West Jefferson to go to the Ashe County cheese factory and get some ...

Grandma came back over and greeted us with a photo album, I instanstly knew this was going to be funny. We opened it up and looked at all the old photos of Amy, Me, Mum, Dad and the rest of our relatives that made appearances in the photos. I went through some of the Wedding photos with Grandma too, however she was a tad distracted ...

... they turned around. So of course, Cheryl was freaked out and not going anywhere near it. Aaron, Kyle and I decided to be dare devils and still climb the Fire Tower, and didn’t get stung at all. We get to the top, and hear screaming… Cheryl was trying to get a photo next to the Tower and of course gets stung. So they began to walk back down the mountain to get away from the stingers as we snapped a few photos up the top and ...
