Many the Miles
... leaving California nearly two years ago. Although I will miss the travel and adventure I engaged on this trip, and will quickly change gears as I start working on Monday, I know the long awaited rest will be soon welcomed. One can only move so far until he has to replant his roots.

... woke around 5am to find US border patrol aboard the bus, UI hadn't realised we would cross the border. There was no problem of course and we set back on the road before long but I didn't manage any more sleep before we arrived in Phoenix at 6:15am.

We hung around for another few hours taking photo’s and watching people come and go, with a lovely mug of hot chocolate to ease our weary bodies.
Once back at home we again had to make the grub and had opted after our hard day to make a good traditional beef stew, with added chicken!
By 7:30pm it was a steaming vat of hot beefy loveliness and we ate the whole thing with bread rolls and pasta.
