... Pinicon Ridge Campground. This is a county park that I first stayed at back BC (Before Charlie). It is a great place with level sites, lots of space, grassy lawns, and a river runnig thru it. It has bikng and walking trails and a bathouse that is very well kept. I had held a Get Together for single folks at this park a year ago, so it holds a lot of good memories..

I am paid up for 10 days so I will be sitting for awhile....Life is really good..

Day 28. Dubuque, Iowa We went to a great river talk this morning by the American Queen's Riverlorian. Grilled and chilled Friday we headed downtown and ate at Mason Dixon Saloon. Headed to Lot1 for a beer. Took scan to the Star Brewery to the Irish Hooley. Much smaller and ...

... business when suddenly this roaring noise overtook us and we saw about 30 motorcycles in the next lane. We thought it was "National Motorcycle Day". Pretty soon they all turned off the highway and into a bar, at 10:30 in the morning! Well on we went for a few more miles until we came to the motorcycle museum. This is a pretty interesting place, more so for those who really like motorcycles. There may be a place to see more motorcycles, ...

... watched it and liked it but Sydney wanted nothing to do with it.
Today was really special. A baseball team called the Ghosts, walked out of the corn and played baseball in the field dressed in 1920s White Sox uniforms I think. It was a scene right out of the movie and there were several hundred people there to enjoy it.
