Lot of Miles on Old Butts

Jane "Hit the Wall" during our trip from Michigan to Tennessee to spend the night with her sister and brother in law. Too much seat time, not enough moving. Be good to get back to NC and get on with our building and my golf and joining the club. Good to see Stan and Nina. His shoulder still not recovered. Going to start weight training soon, but still awake all night with pain.

The house is beautiful. Susie designed it herself. I had seen photos of ...

... certain verses from Romans and Galatians (for our salvation?). And, in the Bible Belt, Patriotism reigns as well. We passed a dark blue cargo van with large white letters imprinted on the side panel “Proud Parents of a Soldier”. And lots of American flags. (And not an insignificant number of Confederate flags as well) Don’t think these folks will be closing their schools to celebrate the end of Ramadan anytime soon!

    ... for me!

Tomorrow night we travel to Chattanooga, approximately 100 miles away. This will be our shortest distance covered in a day since the start of the trip. I just realized I have no idea what time it is. My computer says 8:24. My phone reads 11:24 and the clock in the bedroom says 10:24. Breakfast is at 8:30. I hope I don't miss it.

    Total miles driven: 1451.
