    ... members. It was such a brilliant experience for Sam and Amy, who had barely even been on a boat before. It was then late afternoon and time to leave. Good friends are hard to come by, especially ones who live on separate continents. To see Dave and Lois again, and have them meet Ginny, Sam and Amy, was one of the highlights of the trip.     Well, we reached LAX with no problems...was it an omen but no ...... the travel gods were not so kind.

    We found the gate for our next flight. The first leg of our journey and a stop in Sydney. The flight was delayed. Deep breath - no problem - it'll all be fine!

    ... few days we hardly went more than 5 minutes away in Steve’s 1997 Pick Up but never visited the same mall twice. I was so confused and could hardly get my bearings going to one superstore when there was another store with same name in the next block. Trader Joe’s, Sprouts, Vons, Ralphs x 2 and CVS Pharmacy ad infinitum.

    ... and that’s when our first problem occurred...we had paid for seating near the front- so we could all sit together. We originally had a problem when we paid but Rich sorted it all out. Well our tickets printed and the 3 of us weren’t together or in the type of seat we had paid for, and so we asked for them to sort it.

    Whilst that happened we checked in our suitcases and then went on the search for much needed breakfast. The choice was starbucks ...
