While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement. ... Marriott Hotel nearby, and I made a reservation with Hertz for a car. Once the luggage arrived, we hopped the shuttle to the car rental agency. Along the way I received a text that our car was in slot 166, so we could go directly to the car. We had decided while waiting we would visit the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and eat att the Hard Rock in town.
