A little sleep in this morning which was nice and we felt the world was balanced again when we realised it would be another 30 degree day with high humidity; not quite 90%, but hot and humid enough. The previous two days had been our first respite from the heat in weeks.

... converted into a public park after being used for the 1996 games. They have a cool Olympic rings fountain so we took a few pictures and grabbed a hot dog before driving back to the hotel. The journey took 30 minutes even though Tom Tom said it would only take 10 and that's not even during rush hour! Gives you an idea of what the traffics like here. If I had this trip to do over again I would still do it the same way but next time I would skip Kiev. Half of Ukraine still thinks they are Russian and the other half thinks they are European. Western Ukraine is the better place to visit, according to many who know the country.
