Crossed the Mississippi River leaving Memphis into Arkansas, where we headed to Little Rock. We skipped anything Bill Clinton- MUCH more interested in seeing Charlie Collins, a friend from Siemens. Great visit at their home, and a very thrilling tour of the CAR BARN! Charlie has restored numerous MG's. Very proud of his work. Ann especially liked the 1958 model! We ...

We have finally arrived in Little Rock, AR. Route 40 west going into Little Rock was a nightmare but we are one of the lucky ones. Returned home at 10 tired, but excited for the days ahead. ...

... rolling hills. I know some folks like to call it the Ozark "Mountains." But, they're really just some rolling hills and big bumps, and look small even to one as short as me. In fact, the Ozarks remind me of central Kentucky where I used to live and, I can tell you, those are not mountains. Besides, they're not even as high as the Texas Panhandle where Dad grew up; mountains indeed.

    In any case, they ...

... the woman selling it told me frogs bring rain. I set it back on the table immediately not wanting to ruin our trip. She told me turtles stand for longevity and patience among other things to strive for so I started looking at turtles. We did buy some items from the different Navaho along the way including a turtle (it just wasn't a Zuni Fetish). In a Mesa Verde shop I found the turtle I wanted, but ...
