... had entered another universe. Ron, the owner, seems like he has the time of his life on his farm constructing bizarre statues, carving wooden creatures, and anything else he may find. (http://www.truckhenge.com).
Kansas is such a cool state. There aren't as many corn fields as Nebraska, its mostly huge fields with cows. I could see for miles and miles as I drove down I-70. For a while I thought I should be able to see the Rocky Mountains. But the world isn't flat. I had ...

... in McPherson, KS. And we took pictures of their amazing pies, rather than having a slice. I have a new understanding of "amber waves of grain" as all we have seen for miles and miles are wheat fields! And did I mention Kansas is flat! We arrived safely at the RV park around 6:30. After we quickly set up camp, we had a light supper, took our evening walk, and went to bed. Ready for another long drive ...

Left Denver at around 9.15. We drove all morning, reaching Colby, Kansas in time for a relaxed lunch. Afterwards, whilst hanging about outside the vans we were interviewed by a group who purported to be from Japanese TV, 'chasing' a Japanese chaser..may just have been for YouTube but what the heck, we indulged them and gave ETT some free advertising. We stayed around for a while, watching a thunderstorm developing....then set off ...
