... at $55 a night, but they have a "deal" two-fer where if you stay Friday night, Saturday night is also free. That makes it reasonable.

... Santa Rosa we drove up US 1 to where the Russian River connects to Hwy 116 that took us back to town. What a beautiful, scenic drive. California might not be a place you would want to live, but it does have some of the most beautiful scenery on the planet.
Today we will be heading north up US 1 to see the giant redwood trees.
