Places we Visited:
- Glensheen Historic Estate – Built by a self taught lawyer and former Solicitor General of Minnesota for a cost of $850k in 1905 (today’s equivalent of $30 million), it overlooks the north shore of Lake Superior. The house has 14 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, 15 fireplaces and is a 27,000 sq ft ...
What was meant to be a warm camping trip where we could swim and enjoy the sun turned into a cold time, with gale storms to add to the mix. It was still a good time nonetheless.
We went beyond Duluth to a place called Boundary Waters. A place my wife wants her family to see, reminiscing of her summer in Minnesota. We took ...
The Apostle Islands Rally has come to an end so we said goodbye to our BAC friends on Wednesday and made the short drive back west to Dultuh. We settled into our new 'home' at Ogstons RV park and proceeded to take the afternoon off.
The city of Duluth and it's neighbor to the east, Superior Wisconsin, are known as the twin ports. Both ...

4) We finally made it into Superior about 5:15 PM, even with the delay. We pulled into the Bay Walk Inn and who do we find sitting in the lobby on his Netbook but one Barry Tusin, my mom's cousin from Chicago. We saw hello and get moved into the motel. The agent then proceeded to type additional information into our file, and then ...

... and Duluth. A great place for a walk, run or ride.
Lake Superior looks more like an ocean than a lake. We went on a drive along the North Shore with my mother on a beautiful sunny day. We had lunch (halibut and grouper) at the Scenic Café and finished the day with pie at Betty's Pies in Two Harbors.
Northern Minnesota is one of my favorite places. (Except for the mosquitoes.)
... Val got the trailer set up, well mostly Dave, and then it started raining again. We ate our supper, and then the sun came out. As we travel west we are hope to see some interesting sites to photograph so our readers will not be bored. Not that you should be bored looking at a handsome, suave Beagle type... Saginaw, Minnesota, United States vwinans... to take about hours,(the yanks drive slowly !!) and we were all knackered. Lyn did brilliantly driving, as he coped with the terrible winding road, and avoiding deer that loiter by the side of the road waiting for cars to come to play chicken! Once we were passed that winding 17 miles road we flew. The roads were empty; Lyn only passed 4 cars in about 160 miles, the road were empty. Tegs and I kept him awake, by singing along to Britney Spears songs ...
