Day 2: We awoke to a delicious breakfast provided by the owners of the Inn, Pat and Dave Farris. They served warm, homemade cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip bread, and freshly prepared fruit. What a treat!

We were happy to find a campsite available here Viking Lake State Park in Iowa which was only 14 miles from the town of Red Oak where my maternal grandmother was born in 1903!
