... of Confederate States President Jefferson Davis, 22 generals and thousands of Confederate soldiers. The name Hollywood apparently came from the holly trees that used to adorn the site, not from any other American connotation. Although we were both 'parked' out, I wanted to stop at the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia because when would we be in this area again. I was surprised by the emotion this place stirred in me. ... I called Roger and went on the air with him for about 10-15 minutes.....WOW what a day it was......Then I just sat back and rested for awhile, had a salad, chicken, veggies for my dinner.

Only 106 more miles can you believe I did all this......its hard for me to believe each but I did and I have to say a little proud to be my age and able to do it.

I'm going to sign off, very tired and have lots to do tomorrow. Night all.......
