    I wanted to go and drop some CDs at radio stations so I thought I'll hire a car. The guy from enterprise (American Steve) picked me up in this giant red truck.     ... facility where the candidates for this unit undergo selection training. This may not sound all that exciting, except for the fact that they are housed in old ammunition bunkers in what used to be an old Cold War nuclear weapons storage area. There were lots of remnants of this period, complete with concrete "pill boxes" that used to be where the sentries used to be stationed.

    ... In the evening sermon, we got a chance to once again see and hear Joyce play the piano and Earl sing. This was a particular blessing to us, because both Earl and Joyce were in a horrific car accident last year, with some very severe injuries. To see them both in action once again will remain one of the highlights of our holiday.

    After that we headed over to Bridgestone Arena to catch the Ice Hockey. I have never been subjected to a metal detector test before getting in to see a game - but I guess it is a sign of the times here in the US. It really didn't slow us down, or inconvenience us at all.
