    ... farm but expect to see many more as we travel west towards the Badlands.

    Had rain last night for the first time on our trip. Awoke to heavy winds shaking the van as rain pelted the windows. Parted the curtains just enough to make sure the Missouri River, which sat only a short distance from our campsite, wasn't overflowing its banks. No worries...all's well.

    ... in Madison, a small town outside of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It is a gorgeous park with views of Herman Lake and Herman Pond, hiking trails through woods and fields, and a historic cabin built in 1870. Our campsite is near the lake and near a playground.     11am to 6pm Jp was delivering to this couple that just moved here from butlington, Nadine and Ben. The labor was Brian. Brian was 53 years old and very open about being a smoker and a drinker.
