world capital of Quilt making and yes I did I stopped to discover 10
shops selling Quilt fabrics and patterns full of old ladies looking

... Hannibal is thriving. We started our day climbing the Cardiff Hill up to the light house. From up there I saw a pretty good view of the town of Hannibal and the Mighty Mississippi. I’m sure that when Sam Clemens lived there, the view was much better since the trees would have been much younger and shorter. It is 244 steps from the street up to the light house.
