Truth be told, it wasn't always easy being together 24/7 - here's why.....

One of us always wakes up 1-2 hours earlier than the other.
One of us prefers to sleep in, then relax for another hour.
One of us wants to get going early in the morning.
Then one of us gets impatient and the other one gets grumpy........
One of us did all the driving and driving all day can be tiring.

It rained last night, so my tent was drenched in the morning. I had to wrap it up wet and deal with it later, because it was overcast and never going to dry. The road was great, and I felt better. Once I got a few miles in, I thought it would be a great day to try for 100 miles. I was blowing through it even with hills. ... down to the Gulf. They had jetted to New York and rented a RV vehicle for their trip. One of man in the group had just come back from a Paris to Beijing motorcycle ride!
I also climbed up 244 steps to a lighthouse that was dedicated to Mark Twain and when I was about half way up I man told me not to bother there was nothing there to see and he was right!
But I was pleased I could climb the stairs without pausing.
Tomorrow it's off to St Louis to play.

... green color fabric to match a sweater I bought in Shipshewana to make a couple of pockets.

For dinner we went to Mark Twain’s Diner for dinner. Good fried chicken and onion rings. When dinner was finished we took a ride around the area passed the home of the Unsinkable Molly Brown who use to live in Hannibal. As a matter of fact she was on her way back to Hannibal ...
