The guy said it would come on in ten minutes. That ten minutes lasted all night. It never came on, so I brought everything home to do.

... 6,000 ft fed by waters from the snow topped mountains higher up @ 10,000 ft. His wines are delicious. This trip is not for the faint of heart believe me, but worth it. We had lunch of sea bass, bread & wine @ his stone hut which overlooks the valley below.

2:19pm 89 north .... no guard on my side in places and lake below-- way below. Scary with hairpin turns and down to 10mph. Right on 28 heading towards Tahoe City. At King's Beach we go left on 267 to the 80 and right on 80 -- still 31 miles to Reno.

After a while, we decided to leave so we could make it back to camp at a good time. I had wanted to try and find a lake called Moonlight Lake and find a waterfall called Moonlight Falls on the way back.
