The guy said it would come on in ten minutes. That ten minutes lasted all night. It never came on, so I brought everything home to do.

Also visited the Bristle Pine Forest high up in the snow covered mountain side with trees 3 - 4,000 years old. How amazing is this? ...

... It wasn’t too hot, bath temperature, and we all got in, we were the only ones in there and the stars were absolutely amazing! It was a genuine spot and reasonably well known so we were lucky to have it to ourselves. I think there was around 3 or 4 shooting stars while we were sat there with a beer! ... on this part of the road to the state line shortly passed Harvey's Casino Resort. Think this area has built up a lot.

2:19pm 89 north .... no guard on my side in places and lake below-- way below. Scary with hairpin turns and down to 10mph. Right on 28 heading towards Tahoe City. At King's Beach we go left on 267 to the 80 and right on 80 -- still 31 miles to Reno.

... beautiful pictures of this lake)

After a while, we decided to leave so we could make it back to camp at a good time. I had wanted to try and find a lake called Moonlight Lake and find a waterfall called Moonlight Falls on the way back.

We looked at the map and tried to guess how to get to Moonlight Lake since there was not a trail. The terrain wasn't steep so we just walked over to where we thought it was. There was a huge boulder field in the way though, but we ...
