    ... have to stay in side while Ron fuelled. This station had more motorcycle paraphernalia for Sturgis, SD than any truckstop I've ever seen. They had leather jackets, and chaps and all kinds of stuff. Shortly afterwards we passed through Crookstown which has the hiway go right through the main part of town and we typically stay in the curb lane to let others pass and to stay out of the way.     ... Biking: Tom biked 350 miles. I biked 142 miles. We biked the entire Heartland Trail, around Pike Bay on the Migizi trail, around Lake Bemidji, portions of the Paul Bunyan trail and the Mississippi River Trail, and various other Minnesota country roads.

    It's Friday. And that means it's our last day at Birch Villa Resort on Cass Lake. To change things up a bit, we decided to join Dad in his boat and go over to nearby Crooked Lake with Paul's and Roy's boats. Beth also came along.     ... all the assorted paraphernalia that goes with those sports, that needed to find a home in the car... We keep looking for wifi so we can people posted on our progress...even stooping so low as to go to McD's to see if there was luck yet, but we will keep checking.     Well, we did go to beautiful Mackinac Island on the UP (Upper Pennisula as they say) in Michigan. The Upper Pennisula of Michigan is surrounded by Lake Huron, Lake Michigan and Lake Superior. Mackinac Island is accessible by ferry only and sits out in Lake Huron. They do not allow any motorized vehicles except for a few emergency vehicles.
