Hebron, Nebraska, is about 10 miles north of the Kansas border off US 81. Its claim to fame is that it has the world's largest porch swing which is located in one of the town parks. How cool is that!? You could hold a family reunion here and everyone could swing.

... I got a move on but the shoulder quickly thinned out. There were so many carnival trucks getting too close for comfort. A pickup truck veered off the road and hit my front pannier and tent pole bag. It happened so fast that I only knew I got hit because there was a hole in my bag and I heard the crack of my tent pole.
