    ... 4/17-We wanted to see some of the sections of town like Scottsdale which is to the east of Phoenix. Driving thru Scottsdale and the myriad of stores and traffic we found a restaurant that called our names for lunch....COLD BEER & CHEESEBURGERS.     This was the week when my old Guest Elementary and Cooley High Friends came to town! Last year, when we were in Florida, Linda and Ray Cunningham flew down there and met up with us and Bill and Dian Battenfield to attend some Detroit Tigers Spring Training Games.     Had a lovely warm night last night. Can't believe we woke up in snow and went to bed in warmth.

    We stayed up until almost midnight and then all went to bed.

    Left Black Canyon City bound for Phoenix. Stopped at an Outlet Mall and did lots of shopping. Finally I have found somewhere with clothes which suit me and fit me. Had a great time!
