We departed Boston Friday on American Airlines for DFW to connect to a flight to Albuquerque. Upon arrival in ABQ at about 10:30pm we walked through the Southwestern style decorated airport and went to the comfortable baggage claim area with seating to wait for our luggage. ... shocked when we went inside due to the size of the gift shop. It was huge and stocked everything souvenir ish that you could imagine. New Mexico has a strong Indian connection so there are a lot of handmade Indian products such as jewelry, leather gear, rugs, moccasins etc. Oh yes the bathrooms are certainly clean! We saw the 1920's characters were out on Buena Vista Street. Goofy was one of the characters and we had to do a picture of Greg and Goofy (and Goofy with the rest of us if possible) so we quickly got in Goofy's line. We scored another Goofy/Greg picture and also got one of the rest of us. 1920's Goofy is too cute. We also saw 1920's Mickey and Pluto. I think the 1920's are some of my favorite costumes.
