I currently work as a Paraprofessional in the field of Special Education, and I have a boatload of experience working with emotional disorders and trauma, which will certainly work to my advantage dealing with children who may have lost their parents. ... Children International, a non-profit organization that allows people to sponsor a disadvantaged child in places all over the world. Why don't people care about this? Everybody is out there celebrating while these children starve to death. As a photo collage of emaciated children played, I sat down on the futon in my living room with the realization that I was just as disconnected from those children as the people outside celebrating were.
