      ... we divided by 3.8 to figure the number of gallons consumed and multiplied by the same number to get the cost per gallon. Once we got it figured out, it was easy.

      We didn't have to look for the least expensive gas, as it is often regulated by the province, so the prices are, for the most part, the same all over. Select provinces can regulate prices and Quebec and the Atlantic provinces do so. We paid anywhere from $5 gal to $5.26 ...

      ... plant in 1938 and started producing Beefaroni and other Boyardee products. It is still in operation today. We also enjoyed eating at the Fence Drive-In restaurant twice, very good fish sandwiches and fried chicken!!

      Tomorrow we move about 70 miles down the road to the capital of Pennyslvania, Harrisburg. We will be staying thru Labor Day. We hope to to visit Gettysburg, Hershey and Lancaster.

      ... as we crossed into Maryland. We finally had a Cracker Barrell experience today at lunch. I had crusty grilled trout with lemon, sweet potatoes, crunchy broccoli and moist flaky buttermilk tea biscuits slathered with lots of butter. Yummy!       From Dickson City and Aunt Dolores we headed to Stroudsmoor Country Inn in the Poconos for the night. The Inn is primarily used for weddings, with five separate venues available. They tell us they can host all five weddings at the same time, and no one will know another wedding is occurring. The aerial photo of the Inn is from their promo, but it's good.
