We filled up with gas in Ashland and then took I-95 north to route 17 in Fredricksburg. Route 17 is the scenic route that heads into the mountains of Virginia. ... up with me, so I only stayed for about 10 minutes. I think he would have chatted all day though. When I said goodbye he said, "I hope you live a long life and I never die." Today was surprisingly steep. Sometimes it's good not to expect it though. Patrick had a total tube and tire blow out going down a hill. I felt pretty bad about it. ... our way back to the campground we went over to see Lake Oneida and Sylvan Beach. The beach area also has an amusement park located across the parking lot. The area had a lot of tourists and people seemed to be enjoying the lake and beach area.

Tomorrow we will be in Grand Island, NY to visit the one, the only Niagara Falls. I just love waterfalls and can't wait!!
