Not so awesome when I realised I needed to pack, squeeze in a sleep, and take a car to the airport around 0430am!

Suffice to say, I had very little sleep, there was no Starbucks open to get a coffee hit to keep me alive and I was too busy deliriously laughing with my brother on Skype while running around throwing things in my suitcase.

... burger at the Illinois Bar & Grill. Wasn't too bad! I sat at a table across from a guy - and we got chatting and had a great talk over our burgers! I would say he is in his mid 50's or so. He flies frequently for work and has got 2.5 million miles! Crazy! He was telling me all the places in the USA which are worth seeing and which places are not worth seeing. Dinner and a city tour.

... was my choice. So our tour focused on the numerous city parks and lakes and homes around Minneapolis. It was a Monday evening and the weather was perfect (we've come to expect this) and we were amazed at the thousands(!) of people who were outdoors, walking, biking, skating, sailing, attending concerts, and generally enjoying their beautiful city. Good bye MN and hello Europe! We left MSP a bit late after a cattle-call of a boarding process. Thank goodness for Dan's premium status as we got to use Door #2 and avoid the crowd. Our seats were 10A/B with lots of leg room but no under seat storage. That's fine....I had papers to read and movies to watch.
