    While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement.     Had mixed emotions about having to go home today. It had been a wonderful trip, had met a lot of people along the way, ate great food, saw beautiful scenery, got into spats with Jeff & Amelia ~ really did have a great time!

    We weren't due to fly out of Anchorage until 7:30pm in the evening, but thank goodness, Jeff decided to check for an earlier flight through Seattle. We drove back to Anchorage, returned the car & was at the airport for the 3:30pm ...
