I had bacon, eggs, and toast for breakfast which was free from the hotel. I am sad to see Tennessee in my rearview mirror but I am headed to Atlanta. I drove through the mountains and then stopped for lunch at Chipotle for $9.30. I only ate half and will finish the rest for dinner. I stopped for gas in Atlanta at Chevron for $36.90.

She was actually the first one that I saw many years ago when I went to Atlanta to meet Damita after becoming a full time employee of CNN. The department was the Public Information back then and I remember the rain when I came in. I had to pull over and called Donna hoping for someone to talk to while I sat waiting for it ...

... the fan zone. Emma had been talking all day about Rory, so was super pleased she could have her photo taken with ‘him’ (a cardboard cutout). Sarah was very happy to have hers taken with Adam Scott. With seats available in the stand on the 18th green (unheard of at a European event) we felt it would be wrong not to make ourselves comfortable. What a great place to see how the players play the final hole and ...

... restaurant. I sat down and ordered the eggs Benedict. It took forever to come out and when it finally did, it was slop. It looked bad and tasted nothing like home. I could have made a better version. Waste not, want not, I ate it. I got my bill and tried to pay with my card. The waitress returned telling me my card was declined. This was a prepaid Qantas travel card loaded with US dollars, I'd had no issues with it. Declined? Like I was broke? ...
