... couldn't imagine never seeing my host family again! Saying bye was the hardest thing about this trip, the amount of times we said bye and gave each other hugs were un-countable! There were tears, hugs and sadness, all different emotions from the first day we met them! Hopefully we will make their time in Australia just as incredible as they made it for us! Two hearts

Today was our formal introduction to the school at their flag raising assembly. Mrs Ghu was somewhat frustrated as the sound system kept cutting in and out. It was reassuring to know that this doesn't just happen at OOPS! 1400 students were lined up on the athletics track - all peering at us with great interest. Edward, Yanling , Martin & myself were each introduced in turn. After the official welcome, we were all presented with the red scarf that is part of the Number 4 uniform. ...

... at the end of the four week cycle somehow we would merge it together. This caused chaos the second week when students didn’t understand that they had new roles. It was fun, although I quietly dropped it with some of the lower classes who were struggling. I have ended up with some very cute video of them performing, but they’re really long and I know that I won’t manage to upload them with the internet here!

The ...
