    Day 75. Saturday 8 August 2015

We finally had a rest day – sort of. I did the washing and cleaned the van and Linton did a few repairs. Read and went for a swim in the pool. We really enjoyed this day and I think we needed it.

This morning at breakfast, we spoke with a couple who were ...

... allocated to states and how states allocate their monies to interstate highways. The right lane of I 95 is a succession of patches. I couldn't cheat and drive close to the left side of my lane because the traffic was so heavy and I couldn't cheat on the right side because there were potholes just to the right of the white line. Potholes that were 2-3 feet long and 6 inches deep.
Stopped for the night at Santee ...
