I was so tired last night after the Zoo that I decided to wait till today and write a double entry about the two days we have had so far in San Diego.
First though, I'd like to write about a few things I have learned on our travels so far:
1 - Whatever time you planned to leave in the morning add half an hour (on a good day) to an hour (on a less good day).

It was all worth it though when I caught probably the biggest wave of my life near the end of the day and rode it all the way to the shore. I’m pretty sure I walked straight off the beach after this, hoping that onlookers only saw my last 30 ...
