After a lazy Friday we resolve to make the most of our remaining few days.
On Saturday we get up early and head for Sea World at San Diego. Unfortunately it seems that half of LA has decided to head south that morning and a journey that should have taken us under 2 hours ends up taking us nearer to 5. Along the way we stop at a town called Oceanside to investigate ...
... Venice beach to see all the touristy things; muscle beach, courts, market stalls etc. We then moved on to Santa Monica Pier and had some dinner at an English pub. I went for salmon, rice and broccolini, it was amazing. After a yummy dinner we headed down the jetty and had a churros! We then went on the roller coaster for two spins :) Home via rodeo drive and a wild hollywood sign goose chase to find out it's not lit at night time! Off to ...

There were Sun Bears, and Brown Bears and Polar Bears and Panda Bears, and the dumb yank who kept telling here son to look at the Koala Bears.......oh if only they had a Drop Bear....We saw the reptile enclosure, we saw turtles, we saw monkeys, and we saw lots of other ...

After our meal and hot sauce experience we hobbled round the old town and ventured into another superb Mexican establishment where the very gregarious bartender proceeded to educate us on the subject of Tequila and how this precious liquid compared well against Scottish Whisky!
