Today, I ended my holiday break in a very chilly San Antonio. Sorry for the obnoxious title but basketball season is in full throttle and the spurs are my team.(!!!!) Not really, but everyone loves to say that here and rep the spurs with flags and stickers on their cars. Gotta admire that pride, huh? Anyways back to the important stuff, I am feeling very excited but anxious about the next five months. I can't believe the first leg of my journey is already here and about to ...

Day 6Off to San Antonio to visit Evan and Morgan. But first a drive down the coast see the mud flats, birds and sand dunes that are along the drive. Great views of the coast along the bluewater highway. Then headed inland through marshes and then into oil fields and processing plants again. Of course we ordered a drink; the small ...

... observation tower that has a 360 degree view of San Antonio. You take a glass elevator up to the observation deck. They also have a restaurant at the top as well. I got a little weirded out at the top. I swear the tower was swaying in the wind. But I got over it somewhat and enjoyed the view. We tried to find the sights that we had seen from the top. Some were easy but we could find LackLand Air Force Base. Miles travelled: 543 Hours on the road: 8.75 Total miles: 1025 Total hours: ...

... another 3 year replacement plan for $32. Bob really likes the new GPS and as soon as I learn all about it, I'm sure it will be fine. It does have a few very good features. So, we'll see what happens next. We have to have the MH back by 4 Oct because we leave again on 7 Oct for another two and one half weeks trip which includes the rally at which we are the wagonmasters and then over to Palo Duro Canyon (the Grand Canyon of Texas) and Lubbock, TX to visit Buddy's place (Holly, that ...
