    Shopping ... unsuccessfully

A travel blog entry by jason934 on Oct 08, 2015

Our only activity today was an attempt to get the suitcases fuller before we head home in three weeks. We went to many stores over 6 hours and didn't get much at all, despite trying on lots of clothes. The day was pretty warm but it got overcast so the day was comfortable despite being in the late 80s. For lunch we had Taco Bell and for dinner we had ...

    Underground caves and snake farm

For dinner we went next door to Denny's then looked around the local Walmart. There are lots of black birds with cool eyes that make a real racket ...

Because they need to unload 3600 passengers, clean the ship, and reload 3600 new passengers prior to leaving port at 4:00 PM, they kicked us off really early - 6:30 AM. Thankfully both our flight from Fort Lauderdale to Dallas and our flight from Dallas to San Antonio were on time. This time we were super lucky, my parents picked us up and took us home. A nice ...

7:00 a.m. - It's not every day one can say they woke up in a truck stop after a night on Bourbon Street…

11:30 p.m. - San Antonio was a great stop! We arrived at 5:00 after a solid day of driving through Louisiana and Texas; causeways and swampland to the prairielands of the Lonestar state. We don’t stand out as much driving down the road in a truck and horse trailer in ...
