... also a very pleasant surprise. It is very much a college town,clean,safe ,friendly, with great restaurants and numerous museums. We moved on to Independence in the rain. Calling ahead we couldn't find an RV park that had an opening until I located a place called Stadium Rv. They were willing to take us and the weather was getting worse so we headed there. ... rapidly filling as I set up my tent - on grass for the first time ever. Side note, grass is glorious. In the tent area, there was a large section cordoned off with caution tape. ... and visiting with my sister-in-law Judy. Those of you who "really" know Pat know that he doesn't sit still for long. So up on the roof he went to clear Judy's gutters and downspouts. Her home sits far off the street and is surrounded by too many trees to count. Her gutters were a bit yucky even though she has guards on them and had them cleared in early Spring.
