... my peas and cannot understand why so many kids in Australia don't!!! The next morning was Friday, and Carol & Doug took us to the bus station to head back to Chicago, from where we commenced our train journey taking about 52 hours to the San Francisco area. That is another story, but while waiting for the train we did get about 1 1/2 hours in the bitter cold of Chicago to go down to the lakefront of Lake Michigan, and get a bit of a look around. ... off a fantastic day of clowning.

I wish our lovely day continued on into the evening, but in the midst of the 95 degree + heat, on Hwy 39, just 20 minutes shy of our campground…our lovely, cozy campground with wi-fi, access to a/c, and a swimming pool…I glanced in my side mirror and saw lots of white smoke billowing from beneath the Idris. I pulled over right away, we checked under the engine and saw that we had leaked a ...

... trip. I am so excited for how amazing this will be to see a piece of home in the middle of the trip (and perhaps for them to take some things home with them?). I also am in love with elephants, so I made sure we went on a safari that has a high probability of seeing them! Additionally we will be going up in a hot air balloon- now that will feel like The Lion King!
