Wow, this is probably the first blog that I am writing myself....If Bill is nice, I'll let him put in his two cents. LOL

I couldn't wait to get to Illinois. My baby boy was getting married. It was such a wonderful welcome pulling up to his place. Him and Kaitlin had a beautiful flower garden planted, grass nicely mowed and three of my furry grand-puppies running up to greet us. Andy had our RV spot cleared and ...

... off a fantastic day of clowning.

I wish our lovely day continued on into the evening, but in the midst of the 95 degree + heat, on Hwy 39, just 20 minutes shy of our campground…our lovely, cozy campground with wi-fi, access to a/c, and a swimming pool…I glanced in my side mirror and saw lots of white smoke billowing from beneath the Idris. I pulled over right away, we checked under the engine and saw that we had leaked a ...

... trip. I am so excited for how amazing this will be to see a piece of home in the middle of the trip (and perhaps for them to take some things home with them?). I also am in love with elephants, so I made sure we went on a safari that has a high probability of seeing them! Additionally we will be going up in a hot air balloon- now that will feel like The Lion King!

After my dad and grandpa leave, we will spend a few days in Tanzania to see Mt. Kilimanjaro from ...
