Topeka to Independence what a ride. There is no signs saying you are crossing the state line. So we missed a picture opportunity. We will try and make it up along the way. We had visitors this evening Jeff, Beth, Jenifer, & Chandi stopped by our hotel. We had a great visit with them. Miss Chandi looked great after all she has been ...

There's so much sky and it feels like the clouds sit right on top of ...

I never did, mostly because I was on a tight schedule to return to work, or for the more important reason that I wanted to be able to spend at least a day visiting without the rush of travel. With Ann having a conference in K.C. and me ...

    Hamilton (56 miles)

... The roads were awesome with a wide shoulder all the way to my next stop! Just on the outskirts of Hamilton is an awesome lake. The website I found listed it as having camping, but there were no signs when I got there. I asked a fisher, and he said he didn't think people camped there. Looks like I'll be the first! I set up on the grass near the lake, and no one bothered me. A bunch of little critters were crawling around the picnic tables. I sat and watched ...
