Very exciting events on today - the Grand Parade followed by we get to watch our new friends, the Central Mississippi drill team perform at the Drill team event. But first things first, the Grand Parade. This was staged very early and thank goodness, it so terribly hot and humid in Alabama. The humidity is quite oppressive. Actually, this is the official start of Wing Ding. The opening ceremony declares Wing Ding open, the trade show begins and all manner of seminars and workshops are on the go around the venue. As well, more and more bikes are parked outside the Von Braun centre and I am guessing there will be even more by the end of Friday as folk arrive for the long weekend.
