Within a day of leaving the Black Hills we had crossed the Missouri River. We swept onto a long causeway almost unexpectedly. Speaking of breathing, I attended a two-hour session of Classic Yoga and Meditation this evening at The Yoga Room. The instructor, Maureen, was lovely-- she created this congenial, relaxed environment that came as a culture shock... she and students in the class were even asking me about my cross-country trip. It's funny to be away from DC and realize that yoga doesn't have to be a competition ;)
... landed us in Warren, Ohio where we bought some dinner at a supermarket that we warmed up in the microwave of the hotel room. We do this a lot actually. Most supermarkets have a fresh salad bar or ready to go take-home meals. It saves time, money . . . and calories.
