New Orleans is a so often talked about place when people are travelling. It's a famous place for so many reasons, and yet on arriving here I couldn't tell you one of them. New Orleans is another big city, and the GARMIN again did it's job at navigating us to the Chef Mentaur Highway, about 8km out from the city. I think one of the key things to do …

... in a specific place was 10 degrees or more below the surrounding area, or the Gauss metre went into the red, it was an indication of paranormal activity.

We walked past the some of New Orleans' famous haunted locations, including the La Laurie mansion, which had apparently been now turned into apartments. Took lots of photos, but no orbs. ... nice, very comfortable and a great location. Plus, each night we were treated to peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chocolate milk, and hot chocolate! We arrived at about 8pm and after checking in, enjoyed our traditional first drink at the hotel bar, then headed out to explore a little of the city, keeping an eye out for interesting dining establishments. ... it was. Talking to Leanne the next day she said they were all strong as the Johnny Depp look alike barman was also enjoying one or two along with the customers. Anyway when I went to sit down in the cab, I missed the seat and was sprawling around the floor like a drunken fool, moaning about how the barman had slipped me a mickey, but alas I was just smashed. Next thing I know it was morning, a fun night had by all.

Until next time, have fun because you know I will be.
