... dirty, humid room. Had a reality shock. Keen to spent the least amount of time in the room as possible we headed out in New Orleans to the French Quarter. Determined to eat our way through New Orleans, this morning started at the French Market, an area in the French Quarters that's closest to the Mississippi River (which by the way is really brown in colour). Its a flea and farmers market in one and had all the usual trinkets except it also had some real alligator heads and lots of voodoo trinkets.
