... a buffalo crossing the road was and everyday occurrence. We then drove and around the very next corner was the rest of the herd also crossing the road. This time they had every car and truck waiting. Their were small calves as well as about 40 adult animals. Beautiful!

... when your on a bike trip. The Black Hills area offers so many opportunities for great day trips on a bike. Most people ride during the day and attend the rally at night. ... got to read last night and this morning. YAY! I wish I knew more about Crazy Horse. MI. Know he was a warrior and a hero to the local Indians and that is why he (Chief Henry Standing Bear) requested Korczak Ziolkowski to carve Crazy Horse into the Black Hills mountain. ... bell service didn't start until 6:30 A.M., so we couldn’t experience it again.

On our way to watch the sunrise, as soon as we walked out of the hotel, we looked to our left, and there was a bison! He was grazing only feet away from the hotel. We started the day with a down poor which gave us a 38 min delay on the start of our day on the road. The roads have real good and the temp have been great for driving. We stopped for lunch and had a nice lunch buffet in the town of Miller. They have had a lot of rain around here so the fields are wet.
