I am afraid we didn't really do justice to Rothco, the octagonal chapel has 14 huge black canvases surrounding ...

Vortex of Hell

... dark green clouds engulfed the airport. Scribbles of lightning filled the sky and rain blurred the awaiting airplanes. Incoming flights were diverted and outbound were put on hold. We waited until 9:00 pm to pull away from the terminal. We arrived in Quito at 2:00 am. As we were nearly the last off the plane, we were the last through immigration...our luggage chose to stay in Houston. We arrived at our hotel at 3:15 am...our bags would follow the next night.
