          ... came today to see the roof repair I need. It was looking stormy out but they were up on the roof anyway. The storm appeared to be a ways west of us. I was picking key limes when suddenly I saw a flash and IMMEDIATELY heard the thunder. Scary to me for it to be that close, but especially for the guys standing on my roof! Hot today and even hot in the house with the AC working hard all day long.

          ... is a great beach-though no sand but looked like a postcard! Phil was able to swim here too. We all brought some things to share for lunch and had a good time- the guys napped while Sharon and I took a walk. We didn’t get home till close to 5 pm—to full for dinner so I made a chicken noodle soup.

          ... has been shut down for at least a month-some limited trolleys and trains will try to make some runs. More snow due tomorrow! Phil’s cough is in his chest and he wheezes, but will not go see about it-still claims it is just a cold and that I gave it to him! He did get an abbreviated work out and a swim.
